I am Cassie, a writer from Singapore, and this is a website for me to share my learning experience of healthy, organic living. The reason why I started this website to share and spread my knowledge is solely because I truly believe in it and it has really worked for me.

I used to be really unhealthy. Sleeping late nights, snacking on junk foods, eating in the middle of late nights, not watching what I eat and I even used to smoke.I was always feeling tired and not fully energized. I frequently fall sick, had more frequent eczema breakouts and eventually I started to have really bad acne breakouts on my face.

I remember feeling really unhappy about my acne outbreaks and eczema flare ups. So I started looking for answers from the internet. I did researches and readings on skincare and makeup, because my acne was really affecting me and my self esteem. I thought maybe I should take care of my face first. One thing led to another, and I found a few ingredients that are known to be skin irritants in my body wash. And upon more research and reading of labels on my products, I was shocked to find quite a long list of other ingredients in our daily products that are not 100% safe! That was how I got into buying organic skincare and makeup and I am very proud to say that it has worked wonders on my skin.

Funny as it was, my journey into eating organic started from the external products I use as I became more aware and started reading labels. I also bought books and did a lot of reading on the ‘organic’ lifestyle. From all the research and readings I’ve done, I decided that if i am using organic skincare and it seems to be working, I should be eating right and taking care of myself from the inside too. I started from drinking fruits and vegetable juice every day, and just after 1-2 weeks I started to see the results and I don’t even have to use much makeup anymore.

My skin is not perfect, but it is definitely in its best state I’ve ever known in my life and I am very happy that eating healthy has benefited me this much so fast. Because of this, I am now reading books on healthy diets, the science behind how the body works and how to fully maximize the natural benefits of fruits and vegetables. I do not insist that everyone eat fully organic, as I understand it can be difficult to get organic foods and cook everyday, especially for working parents. But I do urge people to avoid processed and junk food as much as they can.

This way of living is working so well for me, and I truly enjoy the experience of using this new found knowledge to make new foods for me and my partner. I want to share what I know to people who are curious or interested. I am a very ordinary person, I am not extremely sporty, not extremely rich, I’m not even an extremely good cook! But I feel that if this can work for someone as average as me, all the more it will work for everyone else.
